Anarchaeology is a creative technique devised and used by Proboscis for excavating and ‘incavating’ understandings of place, community, environment & ecology – creating layers of knowledge (stories, memories, information, experiences etc) about a place, interweaving a range of media – films, audio, drawings, texts – with online spatial mapping and sharing technologies scavenged from free services, as well as some of our own custom tools (Diffusion eBooks and StoryCubes).
